  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

For the Cream Cheese Layer

  • 8 oz cream cheese Softened to room temperature
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz whipped topping Thawed

For the Strawberry Jello Layer

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 6 oz strawberry jello Any brand
  • 2 cups sliced strawberries Fresh or frozen, thawed
  • 1 cup cold water

Instructions

Prepare the Pretzel Crust

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 1/4 cup of sugar. Stir until the pretzels are evenly coated.
  • Press the pretzel mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish to form an even crust.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.

Make the Cream Cheese Layer

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with 1/2 cup of sugar using a whisk or electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  • Fold in the whipped topping gently until fully combined, creating a light and fluffy mixture.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled pretzel crust.

Prepare the Strawberry Jello Layer

  • In a separate bowl, dissolve the strawberry jello in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir for about 2 minutes until completely dissolved.
  • Add 1 cup of cold water to the jello mixture and stir to combine.
  • Add the sliced strawberries to the jello mixture and stir gently to combine.
  • Pour the jello mixture over the cream cheese layer in the baking dish.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the jello is fully set.

Notes

For best results, ensure that the cream cheese is at room temperature to avoid lumps. You can also use sugar-free jello for a lighter version.
