Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) organic chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 12 lemons)
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 23 tbsp water (adjust for consistency)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the canned chickpeas under cold water and place them in a food processor.
  2. Squeeze in the fresh lemon juice and blend until smooth.
  3. Add tahini, minced garlic, cumin, salt, and olive oil; blend until creamy.
  4. Gradually add water until you achieve your desired consistency. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
