  • 1/2 cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 4 Carrots, sliced
  • 2 Yellow Onions, chopped
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Dried Thyme
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C) and prepare a large Dutch oven.
  2. Season the beef chuck roast with salt and pepper; sear on all sides in hot oil until browned.
  3. Remove the roast and sauté onions and carrots in the same pot for about five minutes.
  4. Mix Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, thyme, and melted butter; pour over sautéed vegetables.
  5. Place the roast back into the pot, cover tightly, and cook in the oven for about three hours or until fork-tender.
