- 4–6 cloves fresh garlic
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (whole milk)
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- Pinch of salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). If using store-bought dough, let it rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Slice the top off the garlic bulb, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 30-35 minutes until soft.
- In a bowl, mix heavy cream with salt and pepper. Squeeze roasted garlic into the cream mixture and stir until smooth.
- Roll out the pizza dough onto a baking sheet or pizza stone. Spread the garlic cream sauce over the dough, leaving a small border.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly on top. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
- Remove from oven and finish with grated Parmesan and torn basil leaves before serving warm.
