  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, chili powder, cumin, and minced garlic.
  4. Place chicken in the baking dish and pour marinade over it. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Slice the chicken and drizzle with extra marinade before serving.
