Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract; mix until just combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
- Slice each cake horizontally into two layers for a total of four layers.
- Layer the cake starting with one layer on a platter; spread peanut butter frosting over it, drizzle with caramel sauce, and sprinkle chopped peanuts. Repeat until all layers are stacked.
- Top with chocolate ganache.
