Instructions

- In another bowl, beat the eggs then add vegetable oil and buttermilk; mix until combined.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Top with whipped cream if desired.
