  • 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  3. Roll the mixture into approximately two-tablespoon-sized meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

  5. While the meatballs are baking, mix remaining teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until it thickens slightly.
  6. Drizzle the glaze over the baked meatballs and return them to the oven for an additional 5 minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
