  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 cup crushed candy canes
  • 2 sleeves saltine crackers

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet, touching but not overlapping.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar until bubbly (about 5 minutes). Pour over the crackers, spreading evenly.
  4. Bake for 5-7 minutes until golden and bubbly. Remove from the oven and sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips on top; let sit for 2 minutes before spreading.
