  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup fresh brewed coffee
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar (for frosting)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 tbsp milk or cream (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth. Stir in cocoa powder, eggs, vanilla extract, and brewed coffee until well combined.
  3. Gradually sift in flour and a pinch of salt; mix gently until just combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  5. For the frosting, beat cream cheese until fluffy; gradually add confectioners' sugar, milk or cream, and brewed coffee to achieve desired consistency.
  6. Once brownies cool completely, spread the cafe latte frosting over them generously. Slice into squares and serve.
