Description

Mint Oreo Popcorn is a delightful fusion of buttery popcorn, creamy white chocolate, and crushed Mint Oreos that creates a sweet and crunchy treat. Perfect for movie nights or festive gatherings, this easy-to-make snack elevates traditional popcorn into an irresistible dessert. With its vibrant flavor and satisfying texture, Mint Oreo Popcorn will leave everyone reaching for more!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup popcorn kernels
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup crushed Mint Oreos
  • 2 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Pop the popcorn kernels using an air popper or stovetop method. If using stovetop, heat a large pot over medium heat, add a tablespoon of oil, then add kernels and cover. Shake until popping slows.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until smooth.
  3. Stir in melted butter into the white chocolate until well combined.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine popped popcorn and crushed Mint Oreos (reserve some for topping). Drizzle the white chocolate-butter mixture over the popcorn while gently tossing to coat evenly.
  5. Add salt and toss again to ensure even distribution.
  6. Spread the coated popcorn on a parchment-lined baking sheet and cool for 15-20 minutes before serving.
