Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium Russet potatoes
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tsp olive oil (or melted butter)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Your favorite toppings (cheese, sour cream, chives, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Scrub the Russet potatoes under running water until clean. Pat dry.
  2. Poke several holes in each potato with a fork to prevent them from bursting during cooking.
  3. Add 1 cup of water to the Instant Pot and insert the steamer rack.
  4. Place the prepared potatoes on the rack and seal the lid securely.
  5. Cook on high pressure for 12-15 minutes based on potato size; allow natural pressure release for fluffiness.
