  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup Guinness stout (room temperature)
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla and slowly pour in Guinness.
  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Drizzle with chocolate glaze before serving.
