- 2 tablespoons gochujang (adjust for spice preference)
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- 2 tablespoons butter (for sauce)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Remove leaves from the cauliflower and cut into small florets. Rinse under cold water.
- Blanch cauliflower florets in boiling salted water for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour until smooth, then gradually add heavy cream while stirring constantly until thickened.
- Stir in grated cheddar cheese and gochujang until melted and well combined.
- In a greased baking dish, layer half of the cheese sauce at the bottom, followed by blanched cauliflower florets and the remaining sauce on top.
