Instructions

  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter with brown and granulated sugars until fluffy.
  4. Mix in vanilla extract and egg until fully incorporated.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in pecans and chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto prepared baking sheets and bake for about 10 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
  8. To assemble, spread melted chocolate between two cookies and press them together gently.
