- 2 medium Honeycrisp apples, sliced
- 2 medium Granny Smith apples, sliced
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 6 whole cloves
- 1/2 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar (adjust to taste)
- 2 cups filtered water
Instructions
- Prepare Your Ingredients: Wash and core apples, then slice them into wedges.
- Add Ingredients to Crockpot: Combine apple cider, sliced apples, cinnamon sticks, cloves, nutmeg, brown sugar, and water in the crockpot. Stir gently.
- Set the Temperature & Time: Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
- Stir Occasionally & Taste Test: Halfway through cooking, stir and adjust sweetness or spices if needed.
- Strain & Serve Warm: Once done cooking, strain out solids using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth. Serve warm in mugs with cinnamon sticks.
