- 3/4 cup strong brewed coffee
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and sugar. Sprinkle instant yeast on top; let sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and softened butter; stir into a shaggy dough.
- Knead on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm area until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle (¼ inch thick), spread brewed coffee over it, and sprinkle generously with cinnamon sugar.
- Roll tightly from one long side to form a log; slice into 12 equal pieces using dental floss.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise again for about 30 minutes.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before glazing with powdered sugar mixed with brewed coffee.
