  • Powdered sugar (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and espresso powder.
  2. In another bowl, cream together granulated sugar, brown sugar, and softened butter until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture; stir gently until no streaks remain.
  5. Chill the dough for about 30 minutes.
  6. Roll tablespoon-sized portions into balls and coat them in powdered sugar before placing on lined baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until puffed.
