Description

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp pumpkin spice blend
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, pumpkin spice blend, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Then fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
  6. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.
