  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped (any color)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp paprika or chili powder

Instructions

  1. Gather and prepare all ingredients by dicing the onion and bell peppers.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown ground beef until no longer pink (about 5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat if necessary.
  3. Add chopped onions and bell peppers; sauté for another 3-4 minutes until soft.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  5. Pour in tomato sauce, mustard, ketchup, salt, pepper, and paprika/chili powder; mix well.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the mixture; cover with a lid until cheese melts (about 2 minutes).
