  • 2 large leeks (cleaned and sliced)

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Clean leeks thoroughly, slice thinly, and mince garlic.
  2. Boil a large pot of salted water. Add fettuccine and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté sliced leeks until golden brown, about 10-15 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  4. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream, simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
