  • 1 cup bell peppers (red, yellow, green), chopped
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp canola oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. 1. Slice beef sirloin against the grain into thin strips. Chop bell peppers and break broccoli into florets. Mince garlic.
  2. 2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch; add beef and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. 3. Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat until smoking hot; add canola oil.
  4. 4. Sear marinated beef in a single layer for about 2 minutes until golden brown. Stir occasionally to achieve browning.
  5. 5. Add bell peppers, broccoli, and minced garlic; stir-fry for another 3 minutes until veggies are tender-crisp.
